I had the pleasure today of talking with Tom 'Angelripper' Such, vocalist and bass player of the German thrash metal icons Sodom.
Fresh off the release of 2025's epic album The Arsonist, Sodom is re-releasing a remastered version of their 1994 masterpiece Get What You Deserve. The boxset features the original out-of-print album album remastered in a beautiful gate fold. If you're a fan of great heavy metal music, this is an album you need for your collection. Sodom also have now taken a hiatus from touring. With over 40-plus years on the road, it was time to take a break. From our chat, it seems that the hiatus may turn into a permanent end of touring for the group, but that remains to be seen.
