Art of Attrition unleashing pure presence in Toronto — with intensity, heart, and humility to match.

Art of Attrition was a great surprise. Their energy flowed effortlessly on stage—it was a real pleasure to hear them and capture those moments through my lens. Hailing from Red Deer, Alberta, they bring a brutal and atmospheric mix of blackened technical deathcore, blending ferocity with precision. Fans of bands like Lorna Shore and Archspire will feel right at home.

They’re currently on tour with Beguiler, the Canadian winners of the 2024 Wacken Battle. Beguiler brings solid musicianship and a strong stage presence—it’s easy to see why they stood out at Wacken.

I had the chance to talk with all the members of Art of Attrition before and after the show—down-to-earth, humble, and kind. The kind of people you’re proud to support.
Their Toronto set was tight and intense, featuring six tracks that showed off their range and command of the stage:

Setlist – Toronto, 2025
• Drown in Fog
• Emaciate
• The Malthusian Catastrophe
• Vitriol
• Subserviate & Decay
• Hunt
If they keep moving forward with this clean energy, truthfulness, and openness, these guys have everything it takes to grow—and so much more to offer.
