"New Messiahs" - Ashes of Ares' Freddie Vidales Discusses the Band's Forthcoming Release and Upcoming Tour

Ashes of Ares - the powerful heavy metal duo of Matt Barlow and Freddie Vidales - released three top-notch records since the band's formation. The critically acclaimed 2013 self-titled debut, along with 2018's Well of Souls and 2022's Emperors and Fools laid the foundation for the band's fourth LP - New Messiahs - which will be issued this summer. I spoke with Freddie about the new Ashes of Ares album (which includes a unique bonus track) as well as the Fall tour that will highlight the Iced Earth classic The Dark Saga.
