Progressive sludge metal titans **Mastodon** have officially announced their ninth studio album, *Marrow Deep*, set for release on **August 28** via **Loma Vista Recordings**.

The announcement follows the recent release of the album’s first single, **“Your Ghost Again,”** and now arrives with the debut of a second track, **“Snakes For Dinner,”** featuring **Josh Homme** of Queens of the Stone Age. The crushing new single showcases Mastodon’s signature blend of progressive sludge metal while Homme’s unmistakable vocals add another layer of intensity. A music video for the song has also been released.

Fans can now pre-order *Marrow Deep* ahead of its late August release.
